 Darren
E. Mullins, M.D. has practiced in Georgetown County and the Grand
Strand since 1999. He moved to this area after practicing in
Greensboro, North Carolina. Dr. Mullins holds active staff privileges
at Georgetown Memorial Hospital and Waccamaw Community Hospital. He
currently serves as Chairman of the Cancer Committee for Georgetown
Hospital System and is a past Chief of Staff at Waccamaw Community
Hospital. He
is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Medical University
of
South Carolina.
Dr. Mullins is an active member of the South Carolina Oncology Society,
having served as President in 2003-2005. He is also a member of the
American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), American Society of
Hematology (ASH), and the
American College of Physicians (ACP). He has served on the national
Clinical Practice Committee for ASCO.
Dr.
Mullins and his wife, Donna, enjoy living in Georgetown with their four
dogs (Harry, Sally, Bo and Charlie), their cat (Bomber) and their
Amazon Parrot (Marley).
